Epica Awards 2017: Seven Out of Eight Shortlisted Indian Entries Managed to Win Medals

Epica was delighted to announce the winners for the 2017 competition. It proved to be appreciable for India as seven out of the eight shortlisted Indian entries managed to win medals at the Epica Awards.   

McCann Worldgroup India / McCann Health Delhi won a Gold for ‘The Immunity Charm’ for Ministry of Public Health, Afghanistan in the Product Design category. The agency also received two Silvers for its entry ‘Rabbit for World For All’.   

Cheil’s ‘Service Van’ for Samsung and FCB Interface’s ‘World first streets named after street kids’ for Door Step School bagged a Silver each. The jury awarded BBDO India a Bronze for ‘#KindnessIsCashless’ for Visa India. HPCL’s & Leo Burnett’#RoadsThatHonk’ won a Bronze as well.

Founded in 1987, Epica is an international creative prize celebrating commercial creativity, judged by journalists working for marketing and communications magazines. Over 60 magazines and websites around the globe are on their jury.

This year, Epica received 3,350 entries from 71 countries. The USA topped the country rankings obtaining 63 awards followed by France and the UK.
